Mr. Leon D. Black is a Founding Partner, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman at Apollo Management L.P. He founded the firm and Lion Advisors L.P. to manage investment capital on behalf of institutional investors and focus on corporate restructuring, leveraged buyouts, and the assumption of minority positions in growth-oriented companies. Mr. Black also co-founded Apollo Real Estate Advisors L.P. From 1977 to 1990, he was employed at Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated and served as a Managing Director, Head of Mergers and Acquisitions Group, and Co-Head of Corporate Finance.
